This blog is about Relationships. Relationships that we have on a daily basis, with those we run into maybe only once in a lifetime or maybe often. Maybe like my friend here who I had business dealings and shared the love of flying with.
It comes home to me this morning when I see in the paper the obituary for a man I have known for many years. A man that I flew with many times when I was a student pilot, whom I rented airplanes from, who I have had other business dealings with over the years and that I considered a friend.
It really comes home today partly because it is Good Friday, the beginning of the three days that end on Sunday with the celebration of the resurrection of Christ from the grave.
The obit says nothing about religion, no mention of a pastor to preach the funeral. Tomorrow I will go to the funeral with hope of good news, the news that he knew Jesus as his Savior but I don’t know, I never talked to him about my Lord after I gave my life to Jesus.
Do you know my Lord? Have you given your life to Him? You see, I have to ask because I have been called by the Creator of this universe to tell you about my Lord.
